At Humble Hands, we believe that God calls all of us to help our communities’ families in need. Our community is Johnson County – from Greenwood in the north to Franklin in the south, as well as small towns such as Whiteland, Bargersville, Edinburgh, Trafalgar and Nineveh.
Though local churches and government agencies work hard to serve those needing assistance, there’s always more that can be done. With many families today living at or below the poverty level, we want to fill in gaps where they exist. There’s enough red tape and hoops for struggling families to jump through when trying to get help. Quite simply, Humble Hands is a place where people can give out of what they have, and where others can receive without anything expected in return.
BE COMPASSIONATE AND HUMBLE."
1 PETER 3:8
We Love our Volunteers
Humble Hands welcomes all volunteers who are willing and able to help: families, church groups, corporate teams, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and others. Help is needed cleaning, sorting, folding and hanging clothing, and moving large items, as well as pickup and delivery of furniture and appliances. Click on the Volunteer button below or visit our Facebook page to see our monthly volunteer calendar and sign up for a shift.
